"I had a nice room and great view and it is a good place in many ways at a price that reflects it's flaws. It's just a few things that let them down - towel rail loose;strange brown coloured dirt mark by the inside bathroom door handle; carpet in main room was loose and not properly fitted with a tear in it. "The apartment was absolutely immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable and the was plenty of space to relax in the lounge. The little balcony overlooking the marina was a lovely spot to have a cuppa! The location is very convenient for both the City Centre and the Beach. The host Joan was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely come back to Scenic View."

"Joan our host was pleasant & helpful, and was flexible wrt our check in. The location is good, with a small supermarket located opposite the apartment block entrance. The is an upmarket restaurant also opposite and another at the top of the building (we didn’t visit either this stay). The view from the top is very good. Our apartment was spacious & comfortable and we found the washing machine very helpful. We didn’t use the kitchen much; no coffee machine, and a couple of instant coffee/tea bags provided. It would have been nice to have had some basic kitchen staples (oil, condiments, etc provided) - but we managed without. The surrounding area is OK but in need of some TLC. Location was good - easy walk to the seaside, shopping area and pubs. Secure parking is available but parking spaces and turning circles are tight (we had a medium sized SUV). Overall a pleasant and convenient stay with a lovely host."
