The room and hotel are immaculate and very luxurious. The Sunday dinner was wonderful as was the breakfast. Very high quality ingredients. The staff were very attentive. A very relaxing stay. "This was our second visit. That should tell you something. We again liked the inn with good variety of of breakfast options, room was spacious, plenty of free parking. It was convenient for the attractions we wanted to visit. Dinner, optional extra, is available and very good quality. We would like to visit again. "

We stayed in two rooms both were very nice rooms and very clean and comfortable. The bar was very cosy with a fabulous log fire and the service was excellent. The food was very good in the bar and the restaurant. The pool and facilities were very clean and warm. All in all a wonderful stay. Will definitely recommend and return. "

"we stayed in the Gamekeepers residence, was spotless on arrival with pretty much all the equipment we needed for a weeks stay. Couldnt buy too much chilled food at once as the fridge is a little small but loved our stay there. the bed/bedroom is really nicely done, perfect for a couple. Minimal contact with staff which suited us as thats what we like. Close access to shops and ameneties in the town very close by, and a good homebase to explore lots of different areas of Cornwall. Would come...

"Leaving aside the novelty value, this is an excellent hotel. Superbly appointed room with excellent bathroom and everything works perfectly: near-silent but efficient climate control, faultless WiFi connectivity and TV casting. The restaurant is a treat, creative and beautifully presented menu choices and fabulous breakfast choices. Most of all the staff made the visit special; attentive, warm, courteous and helpful. "A smart looking property situated in a quiet back street near Plymouth Hoe. Easily identifiable by the sign outside. Clean and tidy rooms with wonderful staff. I parked overnight in a nearby car park. Great place to stay."
