"We have stayed at the Apex Bath before. It has always been good. There was confusion during the check in due to the way I'd booked it - my fault entirely. But a big shout out for Savannah on the desk who was absolutely amazing and so friendly; nothing was too much and she sorted everything out. A great asset to the hotel."

"Ok then - we decided to upgrade our experience to a Premium room with king bed, on arrival noticed that room size was not same as advertised (a lot smaller). When we queried with reception- to be informed that as booking was through a 3rd party it didn’t qualify for a proper premium room, these rooms were for guests who pay Hilton rates☹️☹️☹️☹️. Lesson learnt"

"I booked a hotel on Hotel.com, intuitively a 5-star rated hotel, which I thought was a 5-star hotel, but it turned out to be a B&B. By my expectations, it was subpar. There was no air conditioning, no elevator, and the hotel pre-assigned me to the top floor. When I arrived, the local temperature was 37 degrees Celsius, so the top floor was incredibly hot without air conditioning! Plus, it's a Victorian-style building designed for insulation, which could easily cause accidents for someone with a chronic illness. I immediately requested a room downstairs, but the receptionist said they were full. After repeated requests, she said I had to pay the difference, and it was very expensive. I couldn't accept that, so I had to carry my luggage up to the top floor in 37-degree heat. The room was stuffy, with only two small fans. I stayed there for two nights. Frankly, by hotel standards, it was subpar. By B&B standards, it was quite nice, and the breakfast was good. But it wasn't my choice."

"The hotel generally was good and I'm maybe being a little to picky but, the bath was amazing though was a stand alone bath. Due to this, behind the bath was actually quite filthy. It would be better if the bath was built in as there is also no where to put your shower gels etc while bathing. We were only supplied 3 coat hangers which is nowhere near enough. A coat stand or hooks would be good so coats could be hung up. Also, the lighting for the mirror in the room was dim so my wife struggled to do her make up. The room we had was a premier king room."
