"4 star hotel in sleepy Fredrickstead. IMO the best hotel in town. It has character, clean, well maintained, and in the heart of town…which isn’t saying a lot, but if serenity is what you want, Fredrickstead is the place. There is a bar in the courtyard with music until around ten. Great restaurant at the front gate. Pier for diving is 50 feet away and two dive shops on the way. "

"Checkin was smooth, but once we got to our room, we noticed one of the ceiling fans was not fully connected to the ceiling. There were never any towels by the pool & we had to go to the front desk to get them. Our second night there, we wanted to take a shower after being at the beach/pool all day & there was no water!! We literally had to wait until the morning to shower! Also, I truly believe someone stole a pair of clothing from my suitcase when they came to "clean" the room! When I told the lady at the front desk about the issues, she didn't seem to care, nor did she offer any discounts. This was our first time staying there & definitely our last! The customer service is non-existent & the resort is trash! Do not waste your money here!"
