"Pool and hot tub were not open. The comforter on the bed had a huge gross stain on it and the room smelled like it had been smoked in. I wasn’t super impressed with the room or use of amenities. However, the staff was friendly and welcoming. "

"My wife and I have stayed at this property twice before and I would rate those stays to be very good. I am disappointed to say that this stay was quite poor in comparison. While the front desk staff are professional, efficient and friendly, dirty bed linen, a cockroach in the bathroom and declining standards of breakfast items marred our stay this time. I understand that cockroaches are natives to Texas but a hotel should have adequate measures in place to eliminate such things in guest rooms. As for dirty bed linen, I cannot see how the staff responsible for Housekeeping did not notice this when making up the bed. The breakfast items on offer in the past were much more appetizing than what was available this time. Overdone bacon, anemic looking sausages and soggy, cold sausage and cheese biscuits were not that inviting. Sorry, we will not be returning to this property again"

"I booked a room with one king bed for my wife and me, but the front desk gave us a room with two queen beds without any explanation. When I asked about the king bed I had specifically reserved, the staff unapologetically told me they couldn’t provide it because the hotel was “fully booked.” That explanation turned out to be completely false. After I pointed out that they were breaching the reservation agreement, the manager suddenly appeared and gave us a king-bed room—framing it as if they were doing us a favor by “upgrading” us. This clearly shows they had a king room available all along but simply chose not to honor the reservation until we pushed back. The lack of honesty and the dismissive attitude from the staff were extremely disappointing. If you book a specific room here, don’t assume they will actually honor it unless you challenge them. Very unprofessional and a terrible experience."

"No lights in room until evening. Large family reunion with children happening in the lobby right in front of the front desk and obstructing easy access to the one elevator that was working. Larry at front desk was helpful with the light situation. Wished the bartender would have stayed at the bar to serve the customers. "

"I had a very disappointing experience staying at this motel. First of all, the place was extremely crowded and noisy, which made it very uncomfortable to relax or rest. The room itself was incredibly small and in very poor condition. It honestly felt neglected and not well maintained at all. What made the experience even worse is that the listing clearly stated that the room included a small refrigerator. I specifically chose this motel because of that detail, but when I arrived, there was no refrigerator in the room at all. This was very misleading and felt like false advertising. When I spoke to the employee at the front desk, he simply told me there was nothing he could do about it and didn’t even try to help or offer any solution. There was no apology, no attempt to fix the issue, and no effort to provide another room or any compensation. Honestly, the least they could do in a situation like this is refund my money or offer some kind of compensation for the inconvenience and the misleading information. Customers should not have to deal with false promises and poor service like this. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience and I would not recommend staying here unless you want to deal with overcrowded conditions, poorly maintained rooms, and unhelpful staff. I am still waiting for a response regarding this issue."

"Frankly we don't see how this hotel stays open! - The TV remtes did not work. - Coffe maker in the room, but no cups or coffee. Inoperative bathroom fan. - Broken hair dryer. - Dirty and smelly elevator. - Bathtub drain was plugged. - The grouting on the bathtub tiles had mildew on them. - Bins for breakfast were empty, etc, etc. The family run owner/staff had no interest to improve anything. Apparently, all they cared was to cut corners and save money. If you are looking for a clean and well-run hotel, look elsewhere!"
