We would always pass this property on our visits to South Port and would comment we should stay there sometime and we finally did. We really enjoyed our stay very clean and convenient to town. I would love to stay there again in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. We extended our visit by one day. Our room was already booked, but they made the transition to a new room smoother than we could’ve hoped for. the staff was wonderful. We look forward to going back again and staying there.

Upon entering the unit you were hit by an extreme musty (mold?) smell. The bed was spongy, dishes/glasses etc were sparse and missmatched. The balcony was just wide enough to open a folding chair and the floor in the room seemed to be uneven. The staff understood and without hesitation refunded the room

We loved our stay at the River Hotel! We’ve stayed a lot of places in Southport, and this was hands down the best. Housekeeping staff was wonderful and so sweet, the room was great, and having the pool and beachfront access was ideal! Easy walk or golf cart ride to downtown for shopping, restaurants, etc. Just down the road from Deep Point Marina and the ferries too!

The view is excellent and the beds were very comfortable. The room unfortunately smelled like someone smoked in there and it was attempted to be covered up with scented things. Bathroom fan did not work. Heavy equipment was working right next to the room but thankfully not on the weekend. The pool was very clean and the kitchen was well equipped.

great place to vacation and the location was perfect for Ferry portal to visit BHI. Downtown was walking distance. Parking was great, especially under the facility for loading and unloading luggage. Everything was so clean and staff was super friendly. Enjoyed our stay!

Great value, wouldve been all 5s but the room floor had a spot felt id go through and huge cob webs in bathroom. Well lit areas, private little beach area for sitting ，pier some fished, little pool to cool off and large patio should you choose to sit eat and watch the water.
