"We stayed just for one night erupts to Vik. Nice property, close to Selfoss, reasonably priced for Iceland prices. Kitchen is well equipped. Many other facilities such as hot tub, on site cafe etc which we couldn’t use due to lack of time. Highly recommended for visiting National park, Geysir and Gullfoss waterfalls."

"The goods: the lady let us check in 1 hr earlier, the property was cleaned and well maintained. The horse farm is very nice and the horses are super friendly and cute. The bad: the temperature downstairs (living room and kitchen) was very hot without any way to turn it down. We opened the window in the bedroom upstairs but that brought 100s of bugs that were biting us. Between the very uncomfortable temperature and the bugs it was a very bad night. In addition, the property advertised a hot tub...

"Die Zimmer sind relativ einfach eingerichtet, aber es fehlt an nichts. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut und auch zu erschwinglichen Preisen. Es steht ein Hot Pot zur Verfügung. Wir durften ebenfalls unser Auto kostenlos aufladen. Von der Rezeption wurden wir freundlich empfangen und auch auf die durch Expedia erhaltenen Vorteile hingewiesen."

"I wish I could have stayed more nights at South Central Guesthouse. This was easily one of the best guesthouses we stayed at during our trip to Iceland. The hosts were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and were always happy to help whenever we needed anything. Their hospitality made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The guesthouse was clean, comfortable, and had a warm, relaxing atmosphere that made it hard to leave....

"It's a basic room. One shower between 4. We found the room very noisy, right next to the kitchen and dining, so a lot of clattering until late. The staff at breakfast seemed more like security, checking room numbers and watching to make sure nobody took anything. Picked for the location which was to get the bus to Landmanalugger."
