We could not been any happier with this hotel. It has matched our expectations. It has a beautiful setting and lovely staff. The grounds, especially the historic church, are well worth seeing. We enjoyed a dinner with local fish and lamb at the restaurant. The breakfast buffet included several options. We loved the beet juice served in small glasses.

Nice location next to a small church. Breakfast was one day worth "8", the other day only "6'.
We had dinner in the hotel the first night, but there are better options around.
The hotel was nice, had hot tubs, a bar and restaurant. The rooms were nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the restaurant, opting to try all of the sharing board options which were all great. The Mushroom Soup main was also lovely. Great hotel and staff.
A beautifully designed building on an open field. Hot tubs are available with no hour restrictions facing the west. Room was hot on arrival but there was a window to open. Comfortable pillows and bed.
Overall pretty good stay here! A bit of an older building that seems to have gotten a few facelifts. The room was clean and comfortable, but had a bit of an odd smell to it. The staff were friendly and helpful. Great spread for breakfast - glad I added it on. Hot tub was awesome and you could probably see the Northern Lights while in it. Unfortunately it was quite wet and cloudy during our stay.
Unexpected gem. The hotel room was pretty small and unremarkable, but it was clean and comfortable. I got the best night's sleep of my trip so far. The surprise was the church museum on the grounds and the extensive history of this location going back 1000 years. Fascinating.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the beautiful hotel remotely located in nature. It had a wonderful breakfast and staff were friendly.
Accessibility: There are a series of a few small steps on the main floor which make it difficult when traveling with a stroller and luggage. There is a back door that is accessible with no stairs involved. It has access to the rooms located at the end of the hotel. Perhaps guests with children can request a room at the end near the back door.
The hotel is very remote, but quite comfortable. It has a meandering floor plan with a couple cozy common rooms. No TV in the bedroom, but there was one in the common room that got a few channels. We felt like we had the hotel to ourselves, because for the most part we did. Because the hotel is so remote, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. The ambience there was wonderful, but dinner was pricey!
Our stay was wonderful! The staff was very nice and accommodating. The place is clean and quiet. We enjoyed the hot tub with a nice view of the countryside and the dinner and breakfast were delicious.
