Have stayed here a couple times - once we stayed a week in the rooms out by the beach with their own patio, and this time just a quick night in the basement room. Both times were clean and enjoyable. Having the beach and restaurant make it easy to enjoy!

5th time in St Maarten and this is the best place we’ve stayed. Great area right on Simpson Bay Beach and near many great restaurants, including their own dining. The Boon has a great down to earth feel and my wife and I came to think of their animals as our own pets while we were there. Super clean and staff is so friendly! We’ll 100% stay here again.

this was a fun little local hotel and restaurant it was nice cause it wasn’t a big corporate, but it was quirky and fun right on the beach. we just needed a place to sleep before flying out so we didn’t have an ocean view, if you want ocean view request one of the bungalows on the beach. fun bar with a DJ great drinks restaurant was good!

Needed a room on St Martin - quick - after missing the last ferry to Anguilla after numerous flight delays. Made a Resy via Expedia and found a taxi to Mary’s Boon not knowing what I was getting us into…Mary’s Boon is wonderfully quirky and exactly what we needed after a long, frustrating travel day. Front desk and restaurant staff were hospitable, food was delicious and bed was comfy. Be advised the hotel abuts the runway for the SXM airport so it could get noisy if you’re staying there during daylight hours. However Mary’s Boon Beach Resort came through for us.

favorite locations on the island! Staff is so friendly. they have a few dogs living there that are just a pleasure to watch run on the beach .and the location is fabulous right. You are just a few minutes from Maho and a few minutes from Simpsons Bay. Of all the hotels I've stayed at on the island Mary Boons has the number one beach!

This was not my first stay at The Boon and certainly will not be the last. The staff is nice, food and drinks are good and it is on a beautiful beach. Free beach chairs and umbrellas, music and a dj on Sundays.
