"The Royal Ambarrukmo is one of my favorite hotels in Yogyakarta and, in fact, all of Indonesia. The staff and the (if I am not mistaken) Belgium-born hotel manager are welcoming, efficient, and always making sure you and your family are having a good time. The breakfasts are among the best in Yogyakarta, and the restaurant in general has a superb mix of Indonesian and European food -- all at a reasonable price. "The room wasn't really clean, I found cockroach in the toilet. The television chann sometimes gone, but if you don't watch tv it doesn't matter. The area pretty strategic. And the receptionist service very good. "
