"Beautiful location, right on the beach with most rooms having sea view Excellent buffet breakfast - good for my vegetarian husband. Much easier to get to than we thought - the JR train changes to a different provider at izu kogen but we just stayed on the train and paid the fare balance at Kawazu / also the hotel runs a shuttle so if u r going by train contact them the day before to get the times of their shuttle"

"The view from the hotel is magnificent. The Japanese style rooms are spacious and quiet. I speak survival level Japanese, but there were a lot of communication problems so be ready to have your translator handy. It’s best to have a car to get around the shuttle service was hard to schedule and when returning from the station, they leave exactly at the hour they won’t wait one minute for you during the crowded summer months you cannot get dinner served in your room so you have to eat and the buffet which had good quality for food, but it was still an expensive buffet"
