"Maybe spend a few minutes at check-in to give the guest all the info they need. After signing the reservation form, I was given a key and my room was pointed out me. No other info was given. Front Desk agent was in a hurry to leave the building. No WiFi info, location of resort amenities, or other property info was shared. We walked around to find the pool and discovered it was dirty with a bunch leaves and other debris. I learned about the walking trails after my departure from someone else....

"We had an amazing experience staying here. It was close to the shuttle bus, market, restaurants. Having a kitchen made it easier to pack food for next day. Our host was very very helpful! She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night! We were able to leave our luggages there while we went to a half day tour, even after check out time. I highly recommend staying here! "

"I adore Edwin and his family. They took very good care of this solo woman traveler. He feed me very well!! The atmosphere was very authentic to how the locals live in the jungle. It is rustic. Shower did not have hot water.. I did have the room with a.c. Very nice. I will for sure go here again."

The facility has a Belizian car you can rent which you'll need because the attractions are not too close. The place is nicely tucked away off the main road going into town."

"I’m glad I chose my stay outside of the center of town. If you have a car and are debating where to stay I would chose this place because it’s so serene. There are 3 small houses on the property and they are all surrounded by trees. The hammocks in the porch were ideal. The breakfast was so good and the eggs I had there were the brightest ( real) eggs I’ve had. You’ll see hummingbirds right outside the restaurant. "Clean room, nice pool, and close to some good restaurants and the San Ignacio marketplace. Easy to hop across the street and get a few snacks or groceries from the grocery store. Staff was flexible and you can pre-order your breakfast the night before on site if you are planning an early tour. Only downside was staying the second food room facing front (hotel guests and nighttime swimmers were a bit loud for someone like me who needed to get to bed early). "
