"We had an unplanned doctor visit in the morning of our check-in day that delayed everything planned in our day. I received a call from Angela around 6 pm saying that we were late for our check in and she'd leave notes for us. She reminded me that there is a roughly 100 meters of upheel walk and stairs. Then I realized my mother-in-law joined our trip last minutes and we had totally forgotten about this part. I asked Angela if there was a wheelchair I could use for my mother-in-law. She paused...

Our host went over the top to ensure we had everything we needed and she was a huge help in itinerary shifts and advice that made our trip to Riomaggiore so incredibly memorable. "I had an excellent experience with all the staff, checking in and out. I also left something very valuable behind and they went WAY out of their way to make sure I got it back. Their honesty and kindness is priceless! The location is great, just make sure you’re ready to trek up the steep hill with your luggage or pay for the luggage transport. The bed was pretty hard but that is typical in Europe/Italy. I would happily stay here again. "
