This is a lovely character hotel with a great pool and gardens and an excellent breakfast. Sestri Levante is a wonderful place for a seaside holiday in Liguria with easy access to many beautiful places along the coast.

Beautiful hotel in beautiful grounds. Bedroom was large and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served in the garden which was a real treat. The pool area is very well situated in the garden with plenty of recliners and gazebos. The hotel is situated across from the sea front and the hotel has its own private beach for which you have to pay extra (50 euros a day for 2 recliners and an umbrella, a bit steep in my opinion). The Main Street of Sestri L is just behind the hotel and has a great choice of bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel and am sure we will be back in the future

The only reason for 4 stars is the building is not new, but I had a really lovely stay and the staff were very helpful. Everything felt luxury except for the price. I especially appreciated the outdoor bar/cafe and the bountiful complimentary breakfast.

Really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was in a great central location and only minutes to the Bay of Silence and all the local restaurants. The room was comfortable, quite basic but had all we needed really. The shower was good and we had nice towels. We are used to staying in more modern hotels but this was more than adequate and made a nice change. The building is very beautiful. The breakfast was fairly simple but nice. We used the pool and that was lovely. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The overall price was good compared to other hotels in the area. We would return if we visited Sestri again.

A Downton Abbey experience!

The hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff was professional, friendly, and hospitable. While a bit dated it is refreshingly elegant. Sometimes it seemed like a ‘ Downton Abbey experience. Breakfast was quite lovely. I would love to return to this hotel!
