"Beautiful place. A little cramped for four people by we knew that going in. Only minor concerns that it was difficult to communicate with the staff in English via email. Sent a number of messages that weren’t answered (previous occupant left a pair of ear buds)"

"We got a room on the second floor so we had to carry our luggage by using the stair. The room was spacious for 4 persons with well-equipped kitchenwares. The host was kind and she offered us to join the goat tour of her farm for free but we couldn’t make it because we arrived there later than the tour started. It’s easy to find the place on google map."

"Be aware that this is not IN Selfoss; it is about 25 minutes outside the town. It is nearly impossible to see the unmarked driveway. The facility is fine if you don't mind self check-in. Luckily for us the owner/manager was there so we got to enjoy the bar and a human connection. Breakfast was good with plenty of food choices. Unfortunately our room had only one of the two small lights over the bed that worked; however the working light, and the overhead, were so dim as to be mostly useless, and...

"Nice to check in with a real person. Room was OK. One of the two shared toilets was flooded the other yiu couldnt shut the door. Shared kitchen was useful."

"Unknown plug in the shower drain so water got all over the floor. Once we took it out the water went down but the smell was terrible. TV also didn’t work in the entire building."

"The property is a traditional turf-roof house, and the owner also lives there. The guest rooms are in a walkout basement, with about five rooms sharing two bathrooms. The price was quite high for what was offered. It was noisy at night and there did not seem to be a quiet-hours rule after 10 p.m. The cleanliness could also be improved. The shower drain was blocked when we used it, but the owner cleaned it after we reported the problem."

"Small but very clean room with private bathroom. Rain shower was great! Olga was super helpful. Great restaurants 5-10 minute walk, great food. Just beware if you need taxi to go back to cruise or airport to have it arranged beforehand. Its off the beaten path but worth it!"

"The hotel is excellent! Easy to check in and out. It has everything you need! The kitchen and dining room are very nice and cozy. The owners are very friendly and kind. They hand made waffles for every guest, and table were set like a real restaurant! Thank you so much for your hospitality!"

"On arrival during the time for checking in there was no one present. It would have been helpful to have received an email with room directions. There is a phone in the house with numbers to call but no one answered or the phone was not functioning. We had to go outside and use a mobile to call and be advised which room was ours. The room and ensuite were spacious and very comfortable. A lot of effort had gone into appointing the room."
