Lovely comfortable stay on an Equestrian Centre.

Lovely stay on an equestrian centre. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable with an enormous upstairs sitting room with tea and coffee available. Breakfast was adequate but convenient. It was lovely to see the Icelandic horses outside the window and to be able to visit the stables to meet them up close.

A fantastic, quiet location not far off the busy tourist route, but a world away from the speed and hassle of the Seljalandsa. We enjoyed a very comfortable bed, a great view and tasty breakfast. It was a real bonus to be able to visit and interact with the horses and their trainers.

We stayed in the private apartment for three nights. The location is great for exploring the South Coast. We could have easily stayed here longer as there is so much to see and do within an hour or so of drive. The apartment was roomy and well equipped. We had a full kitchen with a little dishwasher. We had beautiful views of the horse farm, and mountains in the distance. There was also a river behind the farm.

Ármót Guesthouse was a perfect place for our first night in Iceland. There was 3 of us travelling and we each had our own room in the cabin. The cabin had everything we needed with a bonus view of the horse fields. The area was quiet and all instructions for entering the self check in cabin were clear. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

What s great find! To be so close to the Icelandic horses in their amazing barn and pastures was a treat. The room had a WC and views of the range.... breathtaking! Highly recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay at Armot! The unit was clean, comfortable and came with necessary essentials upon arrival. The neighborhood was lovely. The Lupins were in full bloom all around the property. Absolutely magical. Loved visiting the horses in the stables. We would def stay here again if we come back to Iceland!

This place was a gem of a find! Loved it! The room was very spacious and we had one with a private bathroom which was a really nice bathroom. There are several common areas where you can sit and relax as well as areas outside. Loved seeing the horses. They let you go into the stables as well which is amazing. One of the most comfortable sleeps we had on our vacation. We found a restaurant just at 15 minute drive away to Hvolsvollur and ate at Svo which was good. Highly recommend Armot Guesthouse to anyone travelling in Iceland!!

Great place!!

This has been my favorite spot to stay in Iceland! It’s quiet, clean and the view with the horses is amazing. The common area was clean and inviting and breakfast was excellent

Highly recommend

I highly recommend for a peaceful stopover or for a long stay. The staff was kind and the home was clean and quiet. Sometimes guesthouses are loud or dirty but this one did not feel that way at all. I highly recommend staying here. It’s not right in the mix of things but it’s not far between two bigger towns and nice attractions.

Clean, comfortable, easy to find, beautiful property, and the staff were great. Check in was very easy. Free breakfast was a bonus! The common area upstairs offered a great place to hang out after a long travel day. It is a shared bathroom with two other rooms but that was not a problem. The horses were so great too!

Amazing property in middle of beautiful landscape. Property was clean, safe and right size for a family on vacation. Owner was very responsive and answered my calls at the very first ring. Only suggestion i have for the property owner is to have a small store with basic groceries for families to purchase ( Oil, bread, eggs, veggies, ice cream, etc.,). Overall an excellent property!
