This was an outstanding property. Fromcheck-in to check-out it was perfect. The setting quiet and beautiful. The staff so freindly you felt like family. They served a wonderful breakfast buffet. My only regret was we didn’t stay longer.

The hosts and the breakfast were good . It isn't easy to find or the parking unless the host is guiding you but I would be happy to stop there again. There are lots of restaurants in the village, we had an excellent dinner at Gran Duque reserved via WhatsApp

Spotless, honest and friendly

Wonderfully family run business! The attention to detail for all of the services was noteworthy and the friendly and thoughtful help from the owners/manager made me feel safe and welcome. Posada La Casa del Organista is a gem within a beautiful town. I would like to add that it was simply spotless -by far the cleanest place I have stayed.

Absolutely stunning property in a beautiful medieval town. Our host couldn’t be more accommodating. He took so much time showing us the rooms , area and the views . This town is off the tourist route but so worth a visit ! Come stay here !

A beautiful historic building set in a charming midieval village. This was the nicest place we stayed in our whole time in Spain. The staff were welcoming and professional, the room was comfortable and spacious and every view was spectacular.

MX5 Tour

A fabulous overnight stop before the ferry. Beautifully restored historic building, with its own off street guest parking area behind the property. Very close to the village centre. Extremely friendly, multilingual host, Rafa, made us feel very welcome.Our top floor room had a lovely brand new bathroom, and a balcony with fantastic views over Santillana.Would highly recommend a stop here.

This is without a doubt the best place to stay in Santillana Del Mar. The building is old but well kept and beautiful. The bathroom is updated and clean. Rafael is the most welcoming, helpful, informative host I have ever met in many years of travel. The breakfast in the lovely, fireplace warmed dining room has many delicious local choices. The atmosphere and host make this four star amenities posada into a five star place to stay.

Old World Charm! We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Posada La Casa del Organista. This stately and historic building was originally built to house the monks of the church, and was later purchased by the church's organist; hence the name. We stayed in Room 6 on the 1st floor and it's the one prominently featured in photos as it has a cozy glassed in balcony with great views. The location is perfect right in the heart of beautiful Santillana del Mar and is located right on the Camino de Santiago route where we would see dozens of pilgrims walk past us each day. We enjoyed talking with the on-site owner. The posada has a car park located behind the property. If I'm fortunate to make it back to Santillana del Mar I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Rafael make you fill like in your own house. He knows every historical detail about the town and the region in general, and provides you very good tips and recommendations about places to visit. I will highly recommend visiting his house and enjoy this medioevo town. Great experience!!!

Amazing!

Just AMAZING! Right in the village, the hotel is magnificent and the host very helpful and friendly. Parking is on the other side of the hotel and the réceptionniste made sure we knew where to go and even propose to come with us. The beds are amazingly comfortable and the rooms top clean. We had to leave early in the morning and they made sure to prepare coffee before we left. We highly recommend!

The hotel is beautiful and so well preserved. It is a great example of 1700’s architecture of the area. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. It included some of the region’s typical foods, which were very nice to have. Our host Rafa was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. Provided very useful directions and information on things to do in the area.
