"The owners needs to visit for this place the first time my wife went. There was years ago and it was new. Everything was nice. Food was excellent. They have different activities now look like like they don’t care for the place anymore so my suggestion is that the owners need to spend a little bit more money and put that that place better cause I have a lot of friends to recommend to go there, but if they don’t do the changes, I probably won’t do that. I already recommend a bunch of people they like it, but some of them told me that too."

"I was super excited about staying at this resort because I had heard amazing things about it, but unfortunately my experience was the complete opposite. I understand that every resort has its own policies, but one thing El Salvador is known for is its hospitality—and sadly, the staff here did not reflect that at all. During checkout, instead of simply processing our departure, they told us to wait while they inspected the room to make sure we hadn’t taken anything. That felt extremely offensive. If this is standard policy, it should have been explained professionally. Instead, the staff member told my husband it was because we were in “El Salvador,” which is completely unacceptable and should never be used as an explanation. Overall, this experience left a very negative impression and was far below the level of hospitality we expected."

"This is definitely a hidden gem in Lago Coatepeque! The staff is so welcoming and the hotel’s slogan is to treat every guest like family. My grandmother, mom and I definitely felt like we were staying with family. Josue is one of the staff and is so knowledgeable about coffee. Make sure to ask for a coffee tasting with him! The owner of the hotel, Daniel, is the sweetest guy. He along with Josue took us on a coffee tour at his finca where we saw coffee trees, mangos, limes, avocados and more!! This is a wonderful place to relax and recharge. We will definitely be coming back!"
