"I booked this apartment because the description said it was within walking distance of Sandwich town centre, and the map that was displayed prior to booking indicated it was located off Moat Sole in Sandwich town centre. It was only after I had gone through the booking process for what was a seriously expensive booking, a new address was provided for the property approx 1.6 miles away in Woodnesborough! I have restricted mobility and needed to be closer to the town so I asked if I could cancel....

"The hotel is located right in front of the beach, within a reasonable walking distance to the Dover Cliffs. The staff were excellent and attentive. The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our three-day stay at the Hotel."

The staff are friendly and courteous, and were helpful when we found our room to be too warm in the evening, sending a maintenance staff member to sort out the heating for us. "Great location on sea front. Shops and take aways nearby - we arrived after 7 and managed to get some fish and chips. Nice apartment with separate bathrooms. Only issue was there's a security light outside that goes off randomly and is very bright and penetrates the sides of the curtains. "
