"We recently attended a nearby wedding and stayed at The Five Bells, an amazing family-run pub and B&B. The family room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with complimentary toiletries that were especially appreciated as we’d forgotten ours at home. Mary and her daughters were incredibly warm and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would highly recommend this lovely place."

"We were expecting a well maintained, boutique hotel, sadly it was not. Although refurbished in Nov 2014, the state of our room (1) lacked maintenance. Although each was relatively minor, when 10 issues are present, then the result is a disappointment. I relayed these to the receptionist on departure, and she seemed reluctant to seriously acknowledge the problem. This summed up the general feeling of laissez-faire."

"For me the staff and the welcome made this such a lovely stay. I was a little confused when I arrived as had to go upstairs to the bar to check in but the warm welcome by the owner and the staff made me really feel at home. I was a little worrIED about there being a lot of stairs and the very kind and friendly owner gave me a room on the first floor so I didn’t have to climb too many. My kettle wasn’t working and there was no tv remote and when I told them the kettle wasn’t working replaced...
