Hacienda del Lago Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This was our first trip to Ajijic and our stay was phenomenal. The room was comfortable, spacious and clean, the property was quiet with lush, well maintained gardens throughout. We were walking distance to the main town area and felt safe whenever we were out, day and night. The hotel offered massages which were just as good as we get at home and a perfect way to relax. The restaurant was open early and offered traditional fare at reasonable prices. Every member of the staff was gracious, kind, helpful and very friendly. Next time we visit, we will try to schedule our trip around this hotel’s availability, it was a wonderful stay. Thanks very much, and a special shout out to our hostess who looks like a young Anne Hathaway. Gracias and Adios!"

Hotel Real de Chapala

8/10 Good

"Your property is beautiful your surrounding surround your dinner in your bar are immaculate and beautiful and comfortable and we hope that we use them again soon. However, the meal we had there left a lot to be desired. I was served a plate a fruit which was not the fruit that was promised to me I questioned them and they gave me one that was promised to me, but only one of the five or six that were supposed to be on the plate according to the menu. The staff was a little bit hard to manage conversing with as they say they understood no English it also I think maybe there has to be a way to make sure that your staff speaks English as well as Spanish or at least has some kind of a way to translate as we did so it was up to us to translate. We think it should be up to you. And your bartender was not there the night we were there and now ordered a couple of margaritas and it took like over an hour for them to figure out what to do because they didn’t know if they had the right materials and sewing, but all in all the place was very very nice and we do look forward to coming back as we have a person in a care facility at one of the facilities in La Flores, which is only a few blocks actually from your hotel and we will be staying there when we come to visitor thank you very much"

Garden of Dreams Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This is a beautiful hotel in a great location with just a short walking distance to the town square. Our room was nicely decorated and clean. The garden is absolutely stunning and well maintained. Breakfast was simple but tasty and the staff was terrific. The hotel manager Yolanda is super friendly and helpful. Just a perfect stay and can’t wait to go back!"
