#sanjuan #puertorico O Castillo San Felipe del Morro foi projetado principalmente para proteger o porto de San Juan dos ataques vindos por mar. Deve o seu nome a Filipe II da Espanha. Fortificações deste mesmo tipo dos séculos 17 e 18 podem ser encontradas por toda a América Latina. Em 1983 foi declarado Patrimônio Mundial pela UNESCO. Castillo San Felipe del Morro was designed primarily to protect the port of San Juan from attacks by sea. It owes its name to Philip II of Spain. Fortifications of this type from the 17th and 18th centuries can be found throughout Latin America. In 1983 it was declared World Heritage by UNESCO.
