If you stay in a modern building or an older building, there are always trade-offs. The location on this building was very good. Please remember that in old San Juan, not just this building. You cannot flush toilet paper and you must put it in a garbage can. No one seems to mind. This is a good place to stay for the experience of old San Juan. Blessings. "

"Floors were dirty in the room (swept but not mopped), hotel as a whole is in need of proper maintenance and upkeep, and the water pressure for showers and the rooftop tubs are the worst I’ve ever seen. Architecture was pretty and the staff was friendly, however I am unlikely to book again. "

"Check in was frustrating. The check-in time says 4:00 but upon arrival, there was no room ready and we had to wait until close to 6:00pm for check in. It was frustrating after a long day of flying. We offered to take a down-graded room but was told they could not assist us as we booked through a third party, Expedia. They seem to forget that if it weren't for that third-party, Expedia, the room would never have been booked - others on site, who were also waiting, experienced the same.
