"Be aware the parking for this location is public parking and may not be available. If you are walking, the center of town is approximately a 20 minute walk and you share the road with vehicles. There is a walking lane, but at times there are drivers who drive close to pedestrians as well as areas where the walking lane ends. "This guest house was magical! Joseph (the proprietor) bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful-- he met us late at night to check in, made us special breakfasts for our kids, arranged a dinner reservation at an amazing restaurant, and so much more. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great, and the location in Lierna was absolutely perfect-- a sweet little street near the main plaza and harbor. We would return in a heartbeat!"
"This was a lucky and incredible find!! Summer in Lake Como is very busy and I was lucky to find this beautiful hotel. The location, Tremezzo is perfect. You are walking distance to bars and restaurants and importantly a stones throw from a bus stop and ferry stop. The owners and staff are kind and very welcoming. "Really nice place, great view. Massive hill to climb. No Ubers, and near impossible to get a taxi. We couldn’t get one until day 3.
Unless you rent a car don’t book this place. Getting to and from town and the ferry with luggage is a nightmare without a car.
Walking on your own is ok, but takes time and you need to be in shape. "

We had a room on the 3rd floor with two balconies affording us stellar views of the mountains and lake. The rearward facing balcony was quiet and peaceful.
