"This was an amazing trip, the location is really nice and quiet, close to national road to take you to Chania, lovely town close by called Armenoi with butcher, cheese monger and nice restaurants, close to Kalives with beach bars restaurants etc. The host Stefanos is a lovely friendly man who will assist with any needs. He allowed us to check in nice and early and greeted us with a smile. He would come chat with us daily if he saw us sat outside. No noise at night which is amazing"

"The lounge offered a very culturally diverse breakfast bar or you could order from the breakfast menu as part of the included breakfast. The staff was out of their way helpful, and they are able to help with booking a car or other excursions on the island of Crete. They responded to all of our requests with grace, kindness and over the top accommodation. It is just outside of Chania city so quieter with big city comforts."

"A great hotel, with lots of activities and entertainment for kids both big and small. The food options are great, and as a vegan I had a number of options every meal which is different to usual holiday locations. The new and old buildings mean there's plenty of space for everyone and you can always find a sunbed"

"Lovely ocean-front boutique hotel on the beach in the Chania area. Great swimming pool. My room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. I’d happily stay here again. "

"Rooftop bar/pool area used for breakfast is a real delight with views of the sea and mountains. The food was exceptional and the dinner buffet very good value head and shoulders above most we have experienced in terms of quality and choice. Very unusual for holiday hotels is the quality of the bedrooms and especially the bed. Excellent in all respects apart from the MUZAK which is played morning noon and night and spoils the wonderful rooftop breakfast experience totally. "

"Nydelig sted som overrasket oss. Vi hadde lest vurderinger og gledet oss men vi forventer ikke at atmosværen skulle være så fin. Rommene er ikke av nyeste standar men de var koselige og alle rom i 2. etg med to balkonger og med utsikt til havet. Vi spiste mye på restauranten deres og mat og service var veldig god! Vi har allerede bestilt rom der til vår ferie neste år! 😃"

"Our stay at the Royal Sun Hotel was perfect. The room with the sea view and balcony was of a high standard, clean and comfortable. The Hill restaurant, where we ate breakfast each day, had a stunning view overlooking the old port and the sea, and was a delight to sit at each morning. The breakfast choice and quality was probably the best we’ve ever experienced. The pool was great with that brilliant view and plenty of chairs and sunbeds to choose from. "Really lovely villas and large pools. Could do with slightly more foliage in between villa terraces for added privacy and the cleaner should sweep when changing towels etc..other than that the owners were extremely friendly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here. Definitely need to rent a car. "

Équipement très complet, on apprécie la piscine individuelle. Très bonne literie Spa agréable (jacuzzi et piscine intérieure). On n'a hélas pas pu profiter des massages faute de temps. Très bon petit déjeuner Avons passé un excellent moment avec des amis."
