"Property was amazing! Clean, large and chic. Close to the plateau and lots of restaurants! Only downside is you can hear people walking around upstairs but fans and earplugs are provide and noise is usually only until 11pm"

"The room was very basic. It was not configured the way we had discussed at check-in but the front desk staff were able to assemble things at our request. Clean room and bathroom. Breakfast was acceptable but not as great as some of the reviews we had read. I had asked for some vegetarian options. The request was noted but there was nobody who was aware of it at the breakfast service. The attempt to give the impression of service was made but it fell short unfortunately. Location is convenient....

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel is centrally located in old Montreal, is a beautiful property. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. Housekeeping was thorough and incredibly prompt. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The rooftop bar had great cocktails, and food and nice views of the river. And there are also two other very good restaurants on the property, Pincette in particular."

"It was our first visit to Sonolux. A lovely boutique property but this was a case of style over substance. The check-in process was muddled by the use of automation. We had to wait for a staff member to ok us for check-in at the iPad kiosks. The whole process took 25 min. Once we were told that the system had the room ready, the kiosk would not acknowledge our reservation. I tried 10 times. I then had to wait for the 1 staff member to finish another service call before having him deal with the...

"The location is fantastic. The pillows in our room, however, had a strong odour to them and when I called to have them replaced, the reception team mentioned they had recently changed all the pillows in the hotel."
