"There is clearly an excellent training regime at this hotel. All the staff, and there are many, from the cleaners, to the front desk were polite, helpful and professional and they did all they could to make you feel at home. Many spoke good English. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, service throughout was excellent, food varied and very good and the bar well stocked. This was our first visit to Cairo, which is not an easy place to get about, but with the help of the excellent concierge team and Uber (which is well established here) we were able to see all that we came for. "The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The room was clean and newly renovated, housekeeping cleaned promptly when requested and they were more than happy to provide extra towels upon request. The breakfast was always yummy and freshly prepared. Given the location of the hotel, the sound wasn’t too bad. Cairo is a loud city so if you need silence to sleep, being ear plugs. Or maybe Cairo isn’t the city for you. I’m glad we stayed downtown as we really got to experience Cairo and not just the tourist curated sections like the Mena house, pyramids, or GEM (although those places are still worth the visit). If I have the opportunity to come back to Egypt I would definitely stay again. "
