"I don’t like the AC location because the room is so small it’s right beside the bed. It is so loud and I can’t stand the sound of it. Other than that everything is OK. And the staff are doing great. "

"The property is in an excellent location. It is in the center of downtown Honolulu close to multiple bars and restaurants. Very close to most of the popular attractions, etc. While not on the beach, it is directly across the street from the beach with full beach access. My only critique is the $65 a day resort fees for which I felt we received very little value. The pool area is very small with limited seating and if you are there when there are multiple children, it is not a relaxing experience. We went the first day afternoon of our trip and did not bother going back. I would have preferred to have stayed a few blocks away from the ocean and saved that resort fee for the use we received."

"Nice hotel if you want to stay in Waikiki. Walkable. Beach is across the street. Good showers. Nice rooms. Only complaint would be AC wasn’t very cold, They did offer to move our room, but the only room they had available was not as nice as ours (no plugs on both sides of the bed, older bathroom, a little smaller). Just wasn’t worth it for 2 nights."

"This hotel is not a bad hotel at all; however the value is not worth the cost. For the high costs and resort fee, you will have a much newer and enjoyable experience at the Marriot. The difference in price is pennies and the difference in room and amenities is drastic. I was very disappointed by the room and hotel in comparison to the other hotels in the area. They have tons of hidden fees, the pool is not impressive, there is no hot tub, the rooms are older. I would definitely choose a different hotel in the area even if it seems more expensive, in the end you will pay the same for less amenities. "

"The hotel was a perfect spot for my family for our short time there. The rooms were clean and the amenities like the reusable water bottle were a nice eco-friendly touch. Their property was a great location to the the Waikiki Beach Walk, Waikiki Beach and the location of my conference. Staff was very helpful."
