"Hotel was well located and nicely updated for an older hotel. Front office Staff was not very helpful or cooperative when asked for room change or late check out. Also, on first morning at noon, we had note under door saying we were too late for Maid service. Note that specific maid service timing was not posted anywhere in room. But when we talked directly to maid it was no problem & her service was excellent."

"Staying at Menlo Park Inn was a great experience for me and my daughter! We were in town for an appointment at Stanford Children's Hospital, which was a quick 10 minute drives to Menlo Park Inn. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. Our room was very clean and the amenities were great. I really appreciated the fridge, microwave, Nespresso maker, and very cozy robes! We also greatly appreciated the complimentary breakfast in the morning. We will definitely stay here again!"

"Surprised and disappointed that they charged $10 per night to park which they had not done in the past. Street parking is problematic and dangerous. Just be transparent and include it in the charge up front!"

"One-hundred-year-old hotel in the heart of Palo Alto, with walking to all the shops, Whole Foods, restaurants and the theater. The rooms are comfortable, the beds very nice, and the staff is terrific. If you don't have a car, it's a perfect location."

"A gorgeous hotel…we always love staying here! But this time, the shower water pressure was mild, not strong enough to wash ladies’ medium-long hair. All bath towels, wash cloths and hand towels were too rough..they must be new, as they were never like this before. The small hand towels in the Gym are very soft and lovely. The A/C system needs adjusting, since on Low and High it’s super noisy and blows air super high. On Medium it blows almost no air. It wasn’t like this in other hotel sleeping rooms in the past, so we think it was only this room, The Bar and Restaurant are so super delicious! We love dining here for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The Staff is so nice and helpful! It’s a fabulous hotel to stay at, close to everything, including Stanford Shopping Mall."

"Really limited amenities. The room was nice but basic. No lights by the bed. There were reading lights but no bulbs. No info on the tv .. there was a remote behind the tv that allowed Netflix etc but we stumbled around to find it. Minimal towels .. nice breakfast in the morning and coffee .. it was quiet and it worked for our needs . My husband was in Stanford for a procedure."

"Yes the TV did not work. The toilet was very low to the ground. The bathroom was vey small. Just old in general with new paint. "
