"Great stay! The house is well maintained. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location easy walking to charming restaurants and interesting shops. LOVED the extensive breakfast options. Friendly neighborhood."

"Although the property was beautiful and clean, housekeeping never stepped into our room to clear out our trash bins or refill anything. Even after putting in a request. The only time we saw them was one day before leaving. Staff members were very friendly but when a request isn’t enough that’s kind of upsetting. There is also no on site parking for the hotel so consider having to say extra for a parking garage."

"This is a reasonably priced hotel near the university and a short, Uber ride or walk to OHSU. It is not fancy, but it is clean and the staff was incredibly helpful. The only downside I saw was the heating system, which is an old blower type and left my friend with the stuffy nose in the morning. This is common in older hotels, and I urge them to keep them clean and consider changing them to something more quiet and efficient but overall it was really a good stay and a good price and good people."

"The property was great, I didn't really use the gym or the little food court, over all it was a great place, close to the freeway, easy on and off. The bagels at the breakfast bar were a little over priced, but that's just me."

"The front desk is really helpful. Clean, big room"

"Staff was very helpful and accommodating"

"Great place to hang out after a concert"

"Great location. Great feel. Overall excellent."

"Absolutely loved every single part of this stay, the staff the location, the food and the amenities, they were all top tier! Highly recommend this property!! Will be back for sure!!!"

"Helpful stuff and location!!"

"Muy limpio y céntrico"

"the location was great! staff was helpful! unfortunately if you stay in a shared room and you are put on the top bunk, you get no privacy! while the bottom bunk does, so keep that in mind. when I usually stay in hostels, there is a kitchen or at least a shared space for the people staying at the hostel, kex does not have one. they do have a restaurant that is open to everyone which is nice but there were times where it wasn’t very convenient for me. overall nice stay for one night!"

"Quite, peaceful and just all around great access to city, not hard to find. Place was clean and bed was comfortable and cozy! Will definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a quiet, clean and comfy bed. Staff were polite and friendly! 5 out 5 for me"
