"The owners were nice. The couple does all the cleaning but the toilet was not very clean. They need to hire someone that will do a better job. The room was very rustic and hot. No screens in windows or door so couldnt keep them open. Beds kinda lumpy and bedding looked old."

"This is a hidden gem for sure. The view from our room of the ocean was amazing to see in the mornings and then at sunset. We love the communication using WhatsApp. Nice to communicate when we wanted breakfast delivered and to make dinner reservations. We left a coat in the closet and the manager held it for our return through the area 2 days later. I honestly wouldn't have remembered leaving it at all. So thankful. "Probably the strangest hotel I've ever stayed at. If White Lotus and The Shining were merged into a singular hotel, that's this place. First, you're stopped at a security checkpoint driving up. It takes five minutes to confirm you're on their "list." You will have to redo this every single time you leave or return. The water in the rooms was brownish. A note in the room said this was a temporary issue, but reading other reviews indicates this has been a 2 YEAR PROBLEM. Even if the water was...

"What a wonderful experience. Accommodation was exceptional. Restaurant was better than some Michelin Starred places we have visited. Food was out of this world. Service from Chantelle ( may be slightly different name, but young lady with red hair) was top class. Even the owner, lent us beach equipment. Rudolf was a brilliant host as was his lovely wife. "loved this location and luxury tent... the restaurant itself is a little bit gloomy ( too much dark wood for my liking) but the staff were super friendly and accomodating .. and you are there for the views and tranquility not the cordon blue cooking- ill be back "

"Everything EXCELLENT..only hassle seems to be coffee availability in dining room...boiling wster not available whern container runs out.. at least a minimum of 10min wait to replenish. LADIES in DINING ROOM constantly tidy& reset tables after use, but notice that young men are scarce when this needs to be done!"
