"Machine check in for price of room very impersonal and unwelcoming Good location Smaller room We stayed at four higher-end hotels. This one by far was the least service oriented also no robes only pyjamas that were too small. They were cute but too small other hotel rooms with pyjamas also had robes and pyjamas that were cut to fit most bodies."

"I booked this hotel for my 10 year old and husband. They had nothing but great things to say about it! Especially my son. He loved the location and how he didn’t have to do too much walking everywhere. From the manga museum, to Irichan being less than 5 min away. We will definitely book again when we come back as a whole family!!"

"The staff was very helpful especially for checking on whether places were open and on obtaining a taxi. The rooms lack places to put your clothes and lack suitcases stands so one must plan to use the limited supply of hangars and live out of a suitcase. The showers are handheld so one might instead plan to use the open facilities and hot baths. The food was excellent and help is available everywhere."

"Such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay on the outskirts of Kyoto ... a hidden and perfect respite to escape the busy city action but still close enough to pop in and check out all the amazing places in town. The facilities, the meals, and the service were awesome, and we'd like to especially mention the wonderful manager who always made us feel special, Koichi Koike!
