"Amazing hotel and views -the location is unbeatable, the pool and property is amazing, in fact none of the pictures proves justice, this is an amazing hotel with lots to offers…. A car is required to get to the hotel, although I didn’t partake in any of the spa it did look amazing - the pool and the drinks are amazing - the breakfast is amazing where you can sit on the terrace - the restaurant offers good food although I thought it was a bit too much and overly fancy for nothing - and the taste...

"The staff here were amazing. The property is very nice, the room was perfect with a small deck for enjoying your free time. The breakfast was well worth the money , nicely presented and everything you could want. I would definitely stay here again. The downfall is there is not a lot to do in this town but if you have a car you just drive to wherever you want to go. "

"Depuis 2 mois je suis dans les hotels pour notre voyage et franchement c est le meilleur hotel que j ai eu. Une entreprise familiale qui aime le service parfait et tout les petites attrention y sont inclus.Merci a Poalo pour son acceuil chaleureux et ces recommandation.Le site est super bien situer au sommet vis a vis le douro , parfait pour les coucher de soleil. Je souhaiterais y retourner certainement. Merci a tous pour ces jours passés. "

"Quinta Nova is a beautiful Quinta in spectacular surroundings. It is very comfortable and the service is impeccable - probably the best welcome of any hotel I have ever stayed at. The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. The walking trail around the vineyards is superb and a real highlight of our stay. "

"We were so surprised by what was hiding behind the entrance door to this stay. A non descript metal door opened onto the cutest gravel courtyard and beyond that a lovely vineyard. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. We decided last minute to join other guests for dinner and a wine pairing. My gluten free diet was accommodated and the food was amazing. "This was an amazing stay! The property is absolutely stunning inside and out, with expansive views of the Douro Valley. Manuel is an excellent host and even made us dinner reservations at some great restaurants in town. The salt water pool was my favourite amenity. I wish we had planned to stay here for several nights and not just one. "
