"The staff was super nice and friendly but the hotel needs to invest and improve the rooms and hallways. My air conditioning smell terrible and was getting me sick to the point I had to complaint and they came and cleaned it so it probably wasn’t clean for who know how long. The carpet at the room are terrible and smell moldy and the lighting in the hallways is terrible. If they upgrade these things this place would be a place I have return for sure."

"Great place. We had a spacious suite with a nice river view. Close to a river walk which takes you all the way to the 1st big lock on the Douro. Breakfast came in a box to your room every morning with fresh bread, pastries, cheese, ham, orange juice & coffee. Kitchen was also well equipped. We would definitely stay there again."

"This hotel is located right on the Douro, in a picturesque spot. There's a parking area right outside. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel claims to be four star; it may have been once but it no longer is. The rooms are spartan. A 20" tv from the 2000s. No amenities whatsoever in the bathroom, which had a broken wall shower and between one and three lights randomly working, depending on I know what. I had to move furniture to find the only single wall outlet close to the bed....

"This is a nice boutique hotel in the center city of Lamaga. The room was large, clean, nicely appointed, and the bed was very comfortable. We didn't avail ourselves of the spa tub in the room but it is certainly a nice feature. The rooftop pool is inviting and there is an adjacent bar/lounge area. The restaurant features a varied menu and the food was tasty and well prepared. The morning breakfast buffet was generous and nicely presented.
