"The only good things about this place were the parking and friendly staff. Room was dirty and smelled like urine. Not at all like the pictures. Very dark, broken items, paint uneven, floor with cracks. Couldn’t sleep because of smoke smell….Would NOT recommend!"

"I was provided incorrect information regarding incidental charge which when called the hotel was told $50 but upon checking in was told it is $200 due to my using a debit card $50 is credit card. The manager was very nice and apologetic offering to provide a nice room. The nice room was smelly, pillow was dirty found hair and makeup and appeared that housekeeping was not done. I informed the front desk who asked that I leave that room and go to another room which was clean. This was very frustrating after having a challenging work day and the irony of it all is that after being assured that I would have a great room I am inconvenienced with a dirty room. The breakfast voucher and next morning staff were excellent."

"We requested a handicap accessible room. When physically checking in, they said the current occupants extended their stay and it was no longer available. The room we had was filled with the smell of secondhand smoke (non-smoking room) and there was a live cockroach."

"Lovely accommodations, large room with view. Comfy bed, lounge sofa in windows, very relaxing. Friendly, knowledgeable staff everywhere. Restaurant breakfast and dinner were delicious. Excellent chef and great waiters and waitresses. I highly recommend staying here. Easily accessible location. "

"My stay at the Marriott Courtyard in Oakland was satisfactory overall. The initial staff member who assisted me was somewhat brusque, but the lady who helped me during checkout was much more pleasant and did an excellent job. However, I noticed that there is still a hold on my credit card, which has been in place for almost a week since my checkout. The gentleman at the front desk mentioned it should be removed within 3 to 5 business days, so I’m curious about the delay. I left everything in the same condition as when I arrived. The room itself felt a bit gloomy; the carpet appeared dark and damp. Additionally, the hotel lacks amenities, aside from a pool that, while decent, was somewhat difficult to access from my location within the building. Also, breakfast is not complimentary, which was a bit disappointing. Thank you for considering my feedback."

"Rooms were coma, well decorated and cozy. Staff were very nice and hospitable. This was a luxury establishment without steep pricing. Food from the kitchen was great as well! Lots of fun breweries in the immediate area as well!"

"The location of the hotel was great for my trip. I was in walking distance to so much. The hotel does not have an elevator so be mindful of that. The room size is like your average room size at home. Check in was perfect and I would recommend this place."
