"The experience started with the driver who we requested pick up from the hotel. Vaughn was knowledgeable and made the 90 minute ride from the airport enjoyable and we learned about the islands history as he drove us to the hotel. "If you are looking for a little gem between Soufrière and Marigot Bay, this is it. Quiet for those looking for less tourists but still want to explore. Owner/proprietor does everything herself, from cooking to cleaning with the help of one staff. Meals made to order. Pizza night was awesome. Local beer always available. Views are breathtaking and should not be missed. We rented a car; would recommend using taxis and meeting them at the bottom of the hill."

"I stayed at the upper house. I was the only person there other than host (this is someone's home). It is a beautiful property part way up the hill with a fantastic view of the sunset and of the Pitons in the distance. It is very quiet there for a good night's sleep. I really needed a break at the time and this was the perfect place for it. I walked up 30 minutes to the observatory at the top of the hill for a beautiful view of the southern part of St. Lucia. "This is a great property and the owner and staff are great. They drove us to Castries and to the store and were available and helpful on many occasions. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable and the sound of the waves made sleeping easy after a busy day. Catching a mini bus just outside the door was a great and cheap."

"some Palm trees rounded up the view to the beach, it is very calm there, no cars, recommendation to join the Marigot beach resort in the after season, relax or make some tours around the island, by boot or car. If you not so fit, request a stay at a lower part, otherwise some steps are there for good exercise to reach the room, smile."
