"Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific! Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. "The Paradore was exactly what the doctor ordered after the Camino Way. We spent a day and night in Santiago in order to take in the history of the city. The hotel is next to the Museum of the Sacred along with the Cathedral so location was ideal. When our schedule changed and we had to leave before experiencing the breakfast, the hotel packed us a wonderful nutritious packed breakfast we were able to eat at the airport. The bathroom provided a wonderful shower and bath tub. After walking all day, the shower was a luxury before climbing into a wonderful king bed with good back support. I will never forget my experience at the Paradores."
