Everything with the room was amazing, spacious, clean, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. You can't really ask for any better, especially for the price. Good location. very convenient with lots to do within walking distance, but it is on a busy touristy street that at times was a bit loud. the stores around start playing music at 7AM that you can hear from inside the room, not overly loud but can be disruptive. Even with that I would book this place again in a heartbeat

Overall, I had a great stay here. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. Once I was settled in, I really enjoyed my time, and the property itself met my expectations. Unfortunately, the communication and check-in process were the biggest downsides. There was a significant language barrier, which made it difficult to get clear answers when I needed help. The check-in instructions were confusing, and I experienced several issues that could have been avoided with more responsive and proactive communication. It added unnecessary stress at the beginning of my stay. If the communication and guest support were improved, this would easily be a 5-star property. The accommodation itself is lovely—I just hope future guests have a smoother arrival experience than I did.

We could not complete the checkin process as the page would not load so could not get the access numbers to the building and apartment. Despite numerous attempts to contact Lovely Stay (did not answer phone and email reply kept telling us to complete checkin online). Finally walked over to the office which is 5 minutes away and completed the checkin process in person. The apartment itself is a great location to shops, metro, old town. It is very modern, great appliances, clean, spacious, and special to this unit a wonderful terrace for sitting outside. The area and building are very safe and quiet. Convenient to have washer/dryer as well as full kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

This place was awesome and walking distance to many things. Staff was very responsive and make in answering questions when messages about checking in. We never had to meet with anyone as they send us the code before we arrived. Washer/dryer in unit was a nice bonus. It was bigger than we thought and comfortable for us as a couple. Would definitely stay again.

We had a really comfortable stay at this apartment. We only stayed for two nights and didn’t need most of the amenities, but I would definitely book this place again, especially for a longer stay since it was spacious, had everything one might need, and the location was super convenient. Best part: being on such a busy street, the windows could be closed and were nearly soundproof and blackout- we were astounded how well we were able to rest. Worst part: there isn't a traditional "front desk" so you have to complete a form online to check-in and get the code. The process was pretty annoying because the UI could use some work, but support was quick to get everything sorted out for us. I'd recommend doing this in advance so it doesn't complicate things once you're there.

This little apartment was immaculately decorated. They provided everything you’d need. All kitchen wares, coffee for the duration of the stay, cleaning products including laundry pods, teas, shampoo and conditioner. Very comfy home base. In addition to all of that, the hosts were extremely responsive and available. They even gave us a complimentary late check out. Amazing experience!

I do not recommend this property. The communication was extremely poor. Despite paying all required fees, including the property tax, I did not receive the access code or clear check-in instructions before my arrival. I had to contact Expedia multiple times, and even they were unable to reach the property because the calls went straight to voicemail. There is no flexibility for early arrivals. The property would not accommodate an early check-in, nor would they allow us to store our luggage while waiting for the official check-in time. This was especially inconvenient after a long international flight. The building also felt isolated and, from what I observed, there were no visible security cameras or other noticeable security measures in the common areas, which made us feel uncomfortable. Arriving in a new country without knowing how to access your accommodation is very stressful, especially when traveling with family. A property that operates without a front desk should ensure guests receive timely check-in instructions and offer a reasonable solution for guests who arrive early. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this property.

Great location, easy to find. Metro was few steps away, shopping center market were next door. Unit was supper quiet even though it was just on the busy street, we couldn’t hear rain drop at all until we open the door panals to balcony to know it was raining or sunny. Room offered everything we need-big kitchen space with large refrigerator, full size counter top stove and oven, dishwasher, and many cooking and dinnerware. Washer and dyer combo work fine with small load of wash, but doesn’t dry cloth well. Shower space is a bit small, but water pressure was good and water was hot. We enjoyed stay there, will recommend to friends. Only reason for 4 stars is WIFI, we couldn’t get wifi, communicated with them by WhatsApp back and forth, they instructed us to self troubleshooting, didn’t work. We knew the router in the unit wasn’t working at all. Until next day, we were provided with another network and password,( maybe router from another room). Finally wifi was working but weak during rest of our stay.

The location of Santa Catarina was fantastic, which is why I chose this property, but unfortunately our experience was much more stressful than expected. After arriving for our 4 PM check-in, we did not receive the access code due to their third-party guest verification process. An anonymous person from the Santa Catarina team contacted us through WhatsApp requesting personal information, including passport photos and selfies. Sending sensitive information through an unsecured platform was uncomfortable and raised privacy concerns Communication was also frustrating. When I called the provided phone number, the person who answered was dismissive, said the code had already been sent, and abruptly ended the call. We later met other guests who had the same issue and helped explain the confusing room numbering system. The “2nd floor” was actually the 3rd floor, and the Portugal-style room labeling was never explained. The elevator was not working upon arrival, though after leaving a message they did send maintenance to repair it. A neighbor mentioned it had been out for several days. The apartment itself had AC, but the bedroom AC unit did not work, and the dishwasher was also broken. Supplies were lacking — the shampoo bottle was completely empty and the body wash was only partially filled. On a positive note, the location is excellent, and once the issues are addressed, this could be a very nice place to stay. Unfortunately, the stress and uncertainty took away from the experien

The flat was lovely and in a fantastic location, very convenient for restaurants, shopping, and public transport. The double bedroom was excellent, with windows that allowed fresh air and made the room comfortable. However, the second bedroom with the two single beds felt a bit stuffy, as the air circulation relied mostly on the air conditioning and the window opened into a closed space rather than outside. It was also a little noisy and warm due to the boiler located inside the wardrobe. For stays longer than a couple of days, the flat could be better equipped for the number of guests. For example, it would be helpful to provide sufficient essentials such as dishwasher tablets, coffee, and toilet rolls for the duration of the stay. It would also be useful to have clearer instructions for operating the air conditioning and the door locks, as this would make the stay more comfortable and straightforward for guests. Overall, we enjoyed the stay thanks to the great location and comfortable main bedroom, but a few small improvements would make the experience even better.

L’appartement était beau , spacieux, propre, moderne et bien équipé. Toutefois le lit est un peu petit. La localisation était parfaite, bien située à deux pas du métro Bolhao et du marché du même nom en plein cœur d’une rue piétonnière remplie de commerces. Vraiment une très belle découverte!

Property was super clean and convenient location to shopping and groceries. We rented a car and were able to find parking in the street close by for free. Walking distance to many great attractions.

Pros: The apartment was well located and spacious. Cons: The Wi-Fi was essentially unusable and disconnected frequently throughout the stay. The shower was very small and had no shelf or rack for toiletries. You constantly had to bend down to pick up shampoo, conditioner, facial cleanser, etc. during the shower, which was quite inconvenient. The towels felt flimsy, and during my 5-day stay I asked via WhatsApp for an extra set of fresh towels. I was told there would be an additional charge for extra towels, which I found rather unreasonable. Instead, I was advised to wash the towels myself using the washing machine. As for the washing machine, I was surprised to discover that both the boiler and the washer were located inside the bedroom closet, literally less than a meter away from the bed. The washing machine had no English instructions, so the host later sent me a translated version. After that, I discovered the washer door was locked due to what seemed to be a drainage issue. At that point, I did not want to spend more time communicating back and forth with the host to resolve it. Fortunately, I had brought enough clothes for the remainder of my trip. Additionally, the room number information was difficult to locate in the confirmation details. Although the access code was sent at 3 PM, I was still unable to enter the room by 4 PM, which did not feel like a very welcoming start to the stay.

Great, clean and comfortable place in the heart of Porto city. Close to metro and a lot of tourist spots. It is very conveniently located on the popular Santa Catarina street, walking distance from Bolhao market and Capela das Almas. The apartment itself had everything you need and more. Very happy with our stay
