"Very gorgeous hotel with incredible breakfast spread. I understand that this is set up like a village of hotels but we were in the main building so can’t comment much on any of those. Very close to beaches. Spacious parking lot which gave a lot of peace of mind. The restaurant was very good and accommodating. One day I had a stomach bug (unrelated) and the restaurant was nice to make me a special dish of plain pasta to take back to the room. Overall amazing stay!"

"The room was very clean, spacious and well equipped. The breakfast buffet was varied and excellent. We didn’t try the pool as it was too cold during our stay ( october). The location is excellent, you can walk to the beaches nearby and to the old city center. Therés also a surprising amount of good restaurants 2-4 minutes walking distance, try the Palacio da China nearby if you want a change from Portuguese cuisine. "Excellent 4 day stay during height of summer at Salty Lodge. Literally steps from the busy Old town, but area is very safe and somewhat quieter. The rooms are pretty spacious for our family of four, with a veranda that looks out/down to the street activity, stores and restaurants. Shower has pretty good water pressure, no shortage of hot water and rooms have comfy beds. We enjoyed the 5th floor rooftop, oh the views! Make sure to it out at sunrise.
