"Excellent 4 day stay during height of summer at Salty Lodge. Literally steps from the busy Old town, but area is very safe and somewhat quieter. The rooms are pretty spacious for our family of four, with a veranda that looks out/down to the street activity, stores and restaurants. Shower has pretty good water pressure, no shortage of hot water and rooms have comfy beds. We enjoyed the 5th floor rooftop, oh the views! Make sure to it out at sunrise. "Zimmer wie auf den Bildern, ezwas wenig Ablagefläche wenn man zu viert (mit zwei Kindern) reist. Sonst alles wunderbar. Können es uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder."

Alles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Altstadt und Strand. Super schöner Urlaub! Portugal und Lagos ein Traum "

"Amazing hostel! I stayed in the “economy suite” and it was great, a bit noisy as it’s next to the common area, elevator and main stairway but nothing I couldn’t sleep through with ear plugs. The pool and breakfast are worth the higher than avg cost. Staff do an excellent job with group activities, tours, and recommendations. Would 100% stay again."

"This is a charming older hotel and retains a sense of class. The staff is really amazing and they make you feel very special. Don’t expect pillow top beds or rain fall shower heads - it’s definitely an older property but it has good sized, clean rooms with large closets. There’s a lovely roof top sitting area with an amazing view. It’s tricky to get to with a car - no parking or even a pull out for checking in - so if you really need a car to be close to you this isn’t your place - but otherwise...

"Great hostel! Yes the rooms would need to be freshened up a little, but for a hostel it exceeded my expectations. I had booked a private room with private bathroom as I was staying there a couple nights so cannot speak for the shared rooms. Included breakfast which was very appreciated. Clean, nice staff, great location."
