"Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Onsen is amazing, beautiful gardens. Only drawback is that if don't eat at the restaurant not much close by and nothing else at the hotel. "

"A delightful cabin next to the lake with views of Mount Fuji (although our ground floor apartment had restricted views because of the trees - but not all ground floor apartments had this problem). The hot spring bath and foot spa were utterly delightful though and the projector was a nice touch to relax after a day of walking, even if I would have rather been looking at Fuji, my daughter loved it. "Unmatched location, all rooms look over the stunning 1930’s garden and magnificent mountains and lake, no bad views! The hotel exudes old world charm, and while some may find this ‘dated’ we found it delightful. The Franco-Japanese -Deco blend carries through to cuisine and 2 fantastic restaurants (though not for the budget conscious). A truly unique and memorable stay. Would come back in a heart beat. "
