"We loved staying at Los Lagos Spa and Resort. We stayed there with 3 children (13,6,3). They loved the pools - especially the thermal pools. The resort is large so there is a shuttle to bring you to breakfast, the pool, the front desk. They are very fast once you call to request the shuttle. Breakfast had a great variety of food and good local options. They had great drinks at the bar and great bar good while eating at the pool. My kids loved the Virgin Pina Colada in the pineapple. Service can be slightly slow but they are very busy and working as fast as they can. Lots and lots of drink requests. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Tabacón is an incredible resort! The springs is much larger than you would expect, with many beautiful parts to find privacy and relaxation. The drinks are incredible and views are even better. We indulged in a couples volcanic mud massage- and it was the best massage ever! The spa is beautiful, peaceful and worth it! One thing to consider is that it is a 20minute ride to town, so you are pretty much committed to eating at the resort- which is not cheap. Each drink is $15 and meals are $20 . The breakfast options are a buffet at $35 a person or room service- which is about $20 . (Summer 2024) The food was amazing, but we were definitely expecting some cheaper options before we arrived. "

"The service was 5-star, and all the staff were very friendly. The food was delicious. Our room had a view of the pool and the volcano, and it was very comfortable and spacious. Highly recommended."

"6/11/24: we stayed here for 3 nights. It was our 30th anniversary and wife’s bday. This is an amazing place. The rooms are beautiful. The view of the volcano is stunning! The staff were helpful from the moment we checked in until our checkout. I will return again and hope this review helps others when deciding whether to stay. You can’t go wrong with this hotel."
