Climb stone steps to Tiger's Nest monastery perched dramatically on a cliff face above Paro Valley. Explore Paro Dzong's ornate courtyards and painted wooden galleries before visiting the National Museum housed in an ancient watchtower.
A pleasant stay at the end of our hectic trip. This gave us opportunity to relax and gear up for the hectic schedule that awaited us. The overall experience was good and the property lived up to all expectations from a 5-star property. There was nothing much to do at the property apart from usual spa, gym etc. This appeared more as a business hotel rather than a resort that we had assumed. Perhaps a cultural evening or help in planning few off-beat activities in a tourist destination like Paro...

Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel was noisy at the time of my stay due to other guests speaking loudly and opening and closing doors late at night and early morning. Before me needing to ask, the staff moved me to a quiet room. The breakfast was good. A decent coffee machine would have made the experience nicer.
The hotel represents excellent value for money. It is around 10 minutes or so from Paro and 20 mins to airport.

Large comfortable rooms with great valley view. Good location close to restaurants and shopping. Only drawback is that F&B is just average and needs improvement.

This is a great property, ideally situated to climb to the Tigers Nest. It's further away from Paro. The rooms are great ( and yes they have wooden baths!! ). Some rooms feature a view of the Tigers Best. Welcome cocktails and a great lounge area.

Central in Paro.Paro is smaller than Thimbu and acording my oppinion more worth visiting. Depending of time of visit you may need varm clouth because nighttime it can be below 0 degrees celsius.
It is amzing there still is a people not destroid by civilisation. They are genuin friendly and you will not see "white trash" in Bhutan. The fee 100 USD per night is used for free school and healthcare for the local people.
I visited Bhutan first time 20 years ago and it is still the same-the new is...
