"Most of the stay was fine other than a few things: There was an issue with the door to our room locking. The staff showed us how to lift up on the door in order for the lock to engage. The room did not have enough washcloths on the first night. We asked for more and we were only provided with towels and bath towels. On Saturday night, my husband asked for more wash cloths and the young lady at the front desk asked why did he need so many. As much as we paid for the stay, this should not have been a question as we shower twice a day which is not unusual. The toilet did not have a strong flush and became stopped up (it could have been due to the real soft tissue paper that they provided). The lady at the front desk Saturday night asked if someone had flushed a towel or something down there in which my husband replied that there was only two adults in the room and we know not to flush anything down the toilet that does not belong in there. She attempted to plunge the toilet and it overflowed. My husband had to use our previously used towels to stop the nasty water from getting on the carpet outside the bathroom. She said that she was sorry because she had never plunged before. My husband ended up unplugging the clog in the toilet. The room had only been cleaned once since our arrival on Thursday 4/30/26 and our departure of 5/4/26."

"This little motel in the sleepy town of Panacea was ok. Clearly bought & flipped, it’s priced well. I booked based on pictures in the listing, and they’re not exactly accurate. We booked a single room with a king-sized bed (which was wonderfully comfortable). There was a coffee pot, coffee mugs, small fridge & microwave, and hair dryer (which I didn’t use because the cord is too short to be very useful). . Super cute. The bathroom was small but clean. The floors, doors and windows are another matter. All should be replaced. The floor was cracked, peeling, and had exposed nails at the bathroom doorway. The door didn’t seal completely and the window blinds need replacing. Over-all, cute & comfortable for our needs. If you aren’t super picky, I’d recommend it, for the price."
