"Room was great, couldn’t complain. Understanding it is currently a heatwave AC will struggle and only place to cool down was lobby. Would have been great if pool times were extended due to heat. Activities - didn’t really see anything apart from water volleyball nor was I once approached and asked if I’d like to join. Been told that due the heat, only water sports and stretching is happening. Staff were excellent through out the stay! On to the hotel food - breakfast, lunch, snacks were fine...

"Beautiful room, excellent pools, really lovely environment. Staff very smiley, polite and helpful. Almost faultless. They arranged taxis as needed. Spa was also wonderful. However….. Bottle of water 1L cost £6-7, air con hugely noisy, bed very uncomfortable, staff v e r y s l o w to serve drinks / food once ordered. It’s a new set-up so I have no doubt it will improve."

"1000/10 This property was a complete oasis the most peaceful place I’ve ever stayed. Even though Marrakesh is very hot because of all the greenery it was a very nice temperature inside and outside. The rooms were extremely clean if you are barefoot your feet are going to be clean the whole time and it smells very good. The blanket smell freshly clean and they had white sheets. The breakfast was a traditional Moroccan breakfast with all the traditional foods. We will always come back to this...

"Where we stayed at the Oasis Camp was lovely. Clearly it was a newer addition to the Barcelo Resort and it was beautifully appointed and quiet. At night they would light a fire in the center of all the "tents" which made for a lovely atmosphere. Unfortunately, the rest of the Barcelo resort has gone somewhat to seed. It was clearly in it's heyday 20 years ago or so and not much has been done to improve on it since. There were multiple amenities (volleyball, tennis, lake) that weren't well...

"Hotel is very old not matching the pictures. AC is cooling only the office area not the room. we have suffered and couldn’t sleep due to exhaustion of the heat. Mold everywhere in the bathroom. Toilet cover was broken. The cafeteria was extremely hot we were sweating while eating."

"Best stay we have had so far on all our visits to Marrakesh over the years. The complex is surrounded by the most beautiful well kept lush gardens which added to the whole relaxed feel of the hotel. "If you are looking for beautiful rooms, excellent staff, no need to rush to get your towel on a sun bed and peace and quiet then this is the hotel to stay in. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left the staff were so friendly and helpful. The sun beds are very comfortable. The pool has three different depths so good for a cooling dip.
