The only downside was the beach was not well maintained, it was full of seaweed and had a bad odor We were so disappointed because it was the main reason to pay for higher rates at an ocean front hotel to enjoy the beach . of the 4 days we were day , we did not go once to the beach

This place was very nice and in a great location. The only downside was the AC went out and maintenance came to the room at 7:30am so we just ended up checking out due to the noise. The website led me to believe you could get a cabana on the beach but I was told by an employee that they had no affiliation with the beach and that we needed to find our own rentals. Overall it was a great experience and I will deffinitely go back.

I was very pleased with the whole resort. The rooms were clean and nicely appointed. The staff was helpful, especially the person on the phone whenever I would call down for assistance. I did prefer the room in the newer tower to the room in the original building. It was quieter and roomier and nicely appointed. I would definitely recommend the Opal Resort and would like to stay there again.

My stay at Opal Grand Resort & Spa in Delray Beach was exceptional. The hotel is beautiful, with excellent amenities and outstanding customer service. Its location is perfect, with great restaurants, bars, boutiques, and the beach all within walking distance. The staff was consistently friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. A special thank you to Frantz for all of your assistance and hospitality, it truly made a difference. I also highly recommend dining at Drift, the hotel’s main restaurant, as well as Elevate, the rooftop bar and restaurant. Both offered delicious food, excellent cocktails, and outstanding service. The pool area was spotless, relaxing, and beautifully maintained. The pool bar served fantastic food and drinks, making it the perfect place to unwind. Ashley, my server, was attentive, friendly, and made excellent recommendations that enhanced my experience. I was especially impressed with the Fourth of July celebration at Elevate. The atmosphere, views, food, and entertainment made for a memorable evening, and Brandon, our server, was pleasant, professional, and provided excellent service. Overall, this was an unforgettable stay, and I highly recommend Opal Grand Resort & Spa to anyone visiting Delray Beach. I look forward to returning in the future!

First time stay after we got off a cruise. Liked everything about Opal, great location, right on Atlantic Ave, lots of chairs at the pool, large hot tub, bars and restaurants on the premises. We were delighted.

I didn’t love how our balcony view over-looked a weird slab of concrete and it almost looked unfinished. But besides that the room was very nice, the cleanliness was on point, majority of staff was kind and helpful.

Hotel and Delray Beach was wonderful and hope to return soon! One recommendation: shuttle service to restaurants, it’s scary crossing the bridge at night when cars are speeding by.

The staff are very nice and check in was easy. The food at Drift was good. The room was just ok, definitely not anything special, view of a roof and parking lot. Pool was small and filled to the brim with children, it turned a murky color by midday. There is barely any pool service, we never were offered a drink. Leak in our bathroom. Overall it was just ok, we won’t be back.
