"Highly recommend booking this place. Stayed as a family of 4 and Julia and Iain really had thought of everything. We arrived via train and so didn’t pack a lot. They had beach mats, wind breakers etc Also had a bed guard for our little one so she didn’t roll out of bed. Even the bathroom had a hair towel! "In these difficult times with Covid, the Commodore has it sussed with self service check in and owut and measures in place to have a safe break. As a dog owner they allow pets. Free easy car parking in front of the hotel was an added bonus. Only disapointment was breakfast was not avaliable, but its convenient locations offers plenty of alternatives."

"Over all the stay was good and the Bristol House is in a fantastic location within Paignton with everything in walking distance. I have no real bad feed back about the stay, however maybe the house could do with a bit of a lick of paint in the room and freshen it up, I think it would have such a greater impact on customers staying there if it was spruced up a little bit. Overall the room was clean which is always good. Breakfast was fantastic and very tasty. "
