"Honestly I’m disappointed by this hotel. It was the highest star hotel and most expensive for our whole Japan trip and at the end - so we were looking forward to it. The room was nice, very clean, pretty good size for Japan standards. The shower head is terrible - it’s like a jet. The breakfast is outrageously priced if not paid in advance on Expedia first. It was 3800 yen per person - the most expensive breakfast buffet of our whole trip. We didn’t try it so I can’t comment on it since we bought our breakfast for our entire family for less than 2000 yen total at the Lawson right below the hotel everyday. Also, this was the only hotel that had time restrictions on the hotel lobby coffee machine and didn’t provide snacks throughout the day to guests. Good location, but overall disappointing for the star level and price. "

"Nice hotel and great staff. They advertise a 24hr fitness facility, but fail to inform you anywhere on the listing that you must pay to use the facilities. The average price to use the gym is 2500yen per hour."

"This is the second time i have stayed at a Sotetsu Fresa inn and i find them to offer modern accommodation and facilities, and a good balance between cost and room size (which is better than regular Japanese business hotels). This location is particularly good as on a junction of the Midosuji line that runs north south and connects a lot of useful destinations, and an east west line. In fact the hotel elevator can be accessed directly from the subway around exit 17. Check in was by machine but assisted by staff, check out easy and bag drop by self managed lockup. The only reason for the 4stars for amenities was the breakfast was biased to an asian taste, but otherwise lots of choice."

"The place was nice, but the stools in the bathrooms were so dirty and disgusting. The staff was helpful and very nice. The room the nice but not storage and no bathroom door. Not place to store suitcases. No hooks to hang our towels. I would stay here again, but that’s after looking at some place better first."

"Gorgeous hotel. Great location to walk to museums. The public bath on 31st floor is spectacular. 3 minute walk to lovely path along the river."
