"The hotel has certainly gone downhill and rooms feel like they need a really good clean or refit. Carpets in both the communal areas and in the rooms are stained. Mattress was like a brick and towels like cardboard. Queues at the bar and sullen bar staff. Have stayed a few times pre and post flights but won't return again."

"Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. "

"Unfortunately the bathroom shower was really bad. Impossible to turn it on and adjust temp without getting soaked outside the tub . Water sprayed the floor and whole shower experience was average . Bed comfy but pillows lumpy ."

"I stayed here for one night before an early morning flight, and unfortunately it was disappointing. The room felt more like a portacabin than a hotel room. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the overall build quality felt very cheap and plasticky. Even basic amenities were lacking; there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, and you have to go to another floor if you want a hot drink, which is inconvenient. Helen, our check-in host, was friendly and helpful, accommodating our room requests without any fuss — though we did notice it was quite uncomfortable at the front desk during the heatwave, and would suggest management consider providing a fan for that area. "Rooms were good size. Bed was large and comfy. Pillows were comfy. Bathroom was a good size. All very clean. The floors in the room are laminate and could do with a good hoover and mop. Swimming pool was a good size. Sauna and steam rooms were working and usable. Gym was small but had everything needed. £15 parking for 24hr is a let down. If your a staying guest parking should be included. Towels are supplied for use at the pool and gym so you don't have to take them from the room."
