"I love hotel j-mex. The worst part is to get down the stairs to the property if you have big luggage etc. everything else is perfect. This is a love hotel so you will see people using it for that purpose, and cigarette smell if that bothers you. If not, J-Mex is always my go to when I stay in Japan. The room is huge. The bathroom is the best. 100000/10 we love you j-mex see you next trip"

Top Ninja Trick House In Tokyo Hotel Reviews
E Hotel Higashi Shinjuku
10/10 Excellent
"Small but functional room, perfect for 2 people. Very clean and its convenient when it comes to subway transportation. Have also a 7 eleven store near the hotel good for grabbing some night snacks or breakfast. Our stay here is wonderful. Staff speaks English. "
"Hotel is in the heart of Shinjuku (think Times Square in NY). Many eating options around and Shinjuku station is just a few minutes away. This is not a 'quiet spot' it is a bustling and high energy location which is what we wanted. Very exciting location."
"The hotel itself is excellent--the rooms are quiet and clean, the staff are excellent, and the breakfast spread is also very good. This hotel does have 24h locked security, however, as it's in a pretty rough area of town.
Tbere is a lot of dining and other entertainment close to the hotel, and its very walkable. That said, as a solo traveller, the roughness of the area was intimidating."
"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and amenities were available in the lobby. Location is great- close to shopping and the train station. I would definitely stay here again "
"Had a great stay at the Shinjuku Prince Hotel. Vlery convenient, only 2-3 blocks tto the train station. Walkable to restaurants and shopping. There are shops and restaurants in the ssme building. Rooftop restaurant has great views. Located in the Golden Gai area. This area is good for nightlife. The hotel was very nice & clean. The rooms are small as most are in Japan, but functional as I had what I needed. Recommend couples and damilies to upgrade to the larger rooms for walking space. The staff was very nice and polite, most spoke English. The staff even accomodated a very late check out due to a delayed flight and kept my luggage for a few hours while I enjoyed the last few hours of the area. I recommend this hotel and would stay again! Thank you for the great experience."
"I had a great stay at Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku! The room had an incredible view of Mt. Fuji (on clear days) and we could also see the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building’s light show at night, which was such a cool bonus.
The location is super convenient — really close to metro lines, tons of shopping, and all the nightlife Shinjuku has to offer. It made getting around and exploring Tokyo really easy.
Breakfast was excellent with a nice mix of Japanese and Western options. Whether you’re into traditional Japanese breakfast or prefer something more familiar like eggs and toast, they’ve got you covered.
The staff were also amazing — really friendly and helpful the whole time. You can tell they take pride in their service.
Definitely planning to stay here again next time I’m in Tokyo. Highly recommend it!

"It is surrounded with tons of stores around. We enjoyed the restaurant at the ground floor. The cleanliness of the building is phenomenol. One of the busiest street but the experience was amazing. The waiting time for elevator is an opportunity, wish there is a stair to use as alternative. "
"Staff was friendly and helpful, able to speak English. Area was great.
Not enough washers and dryers... only 2 of each.
Overall, I had a great experience and will be staying there again when in Tokyo."
